male "rolemoodle?"*

* This will help the title make sense. I dunno how many of you recall the debate had here about being male and needing male rolemodels, but this is an interesting point that serves to support what Cliff was saying....

"I am fascinated with men(non-feminine,opposite of me that is). I like the way men are the stronger sex and we are the weaker gender. men have those strong muscles so they can protect their women. i like men that appreciate, and recognize you as a woman simply by opening the door for you, or being the one to take the fall in a dangerous event. this kind of treatment makes me feel very very warm inside and very sexy because i know they are man and i am woman. i the deeper voice too. i like their masculine stance, with their hands on their belts, and their feet planted on the ground wide apart. i like how they will just stand up to urinate wherever they are without any shame. ever since i was a litte girl fascinated me. i like watching the way they handle themselves when they urinate. I like how they are rougher than us in their skin texture. i like how their hands are big enough to put mine inside of theirs. these things fascinate me and make me love being a woman."

Hi, Melissa? I'm a guy. Stay the hell away from me, please. I refuse to "take the fall" for someone who expects that of me without reciprocating. This is assuming, of course, that you're not simply attempting to a tongue-in-cheek post.

Thanks for your interesting comments on men. Great that you are aware of a man's tendency to find intimacy through action rather than interaction.

I have a question for you. Can you tell us what you like about men? I don't mean offering up the usual adjectives, I mean what **you** like about men and masculinity. I am very curious to hear. Thanks.

Not everything thinks so, Martha. I tend to be a bit obstinate when I see something I think is unfair and/or harmful to someone. ;-) Thank you.

Martha,

People in general can be scary. But I've learned that we must face our fears head-on if we're going to live life to its fullest.

Men really scare me! There's a rumor out there that women are fickle.__ The reality is that, men vacilate more than women. This is one of the leading causes of mistrust in most relationships.

I forgot to include that the men I've always been friends with are very much like the few women I've been friends with - usually athletic and/or outdoorsy "alpha" types who know how to use their brains as well as their brawn.

One of my good friends at this point in my life is The One-Armed Guy - the best mechanic in town, chief of the volunteer fire dept, former Marine, very Christian, very old-fashioned man who keeps trying to get me back on the fire dept but understands he's SOL because it would take me away from home too many hours, especially with the hot season coming up.
