One of my good friends at this point in my life is The One-Armed Guy - the best mechanic in town, chief of the volunteer fire dept, former Marine, very Christian, very old-fashioned man who keeps trying to get me back on the fire dept but understands he's SOL because it would take me away from home too many hours, especially with the hot season coming up.
