…from the computer for a few days. The home computer is still broken, and I won’t be back in the office until Monday. My mother is coming into town this weekend, and tomorrow night, we are planning to break in our new fondue set and watch the second presidential debate together.
And on Saturday, we will be hoping and pulling for a Cal victory over USC. In the meantime, I’ll consider what color scheme to go with next here on the blog…

So long as the pink goes away. I mean, honestly, pink and green?
what about red and green
PLEASE get rid of the pink. Just about any color would be better than that. I have pink on my blog, but I’ve paired it with brown and somehow it doesn’t seem as strident as yours.
I’m with Astarte. The Pink must go!
I love the pink. What’s wrong with pink and green? It’s very springy and natural. Then again, I am partial to lavender, so I’ll have to vote for the current scheme.
Nah. It’s definitely better, but the lavender hurts my eyes. Tone it down slightly, Hugo. Understated elegance is the quality for which you ought to be looking. Then again, being from California, perhaps “Understated” isn’t in the lexicon!
I LOVE this color scheme.
That is all.
I think the problem lies not with you, Hugo, but the limited color choices at Typepad. They need some new templates, which I’ve been saying for months. Perhaps you should go back to the beginning and reconstruct your template. Colorwise, the yellow and orange shades look nice. I like lavender myself, but this particular shade of lavender, paired with the green, nearly blows my eyes out of their sockets.
i’m loving the purple and green! i like bright colors. so for me- it’s definitely a keeper…
The green and the purple are nice.
My eyes hurt.
Hugo doesn’t do understated.
I should sue you for burning out my retinas.
