Ridiculous. So the lowly student must graciously thank the professor for doing what their job requires (making sure students learn) while the professor has no duty to reply to the thanks? I feel lucky that I haven&#039;t had such pompous professors myself, or at least have been lucky enough to not have proof of their pomposity.</description>
